Step by step - optional

Approach with the ledge on your heel side at a shallow angle and 5-0 speed.
Ollie into a back-truck lock, but instead of holding the nose level, angle it down and out over the near side.
Keep the deck rail clear of the corner - the smith look without the smith lock.
Balance with hips over the rear axle, front leg extended down the skew.
Grind, resisting the pull toward the near side with core tension and shoulder position.
Lift the nose level, unweight, and pop off the back truck to flat.
