Shown for a regular-footed rider. Teal ring + arrow = the rider's facing direction; teal band = the tail; a dot is where a hand holds the board - bright yellow for the front hand, amber for the back one, which is the whole difference between a mute and an indy. Board and rider rotate independently - each follows its own component. Drag to orbit.
How it works
A fingerflip out of a pogo and back into one. From the pogo stance the rider jumps, fingerflips the board with the front hand, kicks it out to the side, and lands back on the truck in pogo - usually on the same side they left. The no-handed version starts from a no-handed pogo or no-handed 50/50 and finishes no-handed as well, with the fingerflip the only thing the hand does.
Step by step
- Set up in pogo with the back foot on the truck and the front hand on the nose.
- Jump off the standing foot, keeping hold of the nose.
- Fingerflip the board over with the front hand.
- Kick out to the side as it rolls.
- Land back on the truck in the pogo stance and rebalance.
Body mechanics
| Front foot | Kicks out to the side and comes back under the body. |
|---|---|
| Back foot | Leaves the truck for the flip and has to find it again to land. |
| Shoulders | Stay directly over the vertical board throughout. |
| Arms | The front hand throws the flip; the other balances. |
| Gaze | On the truck being landed on, not on the flip. |
