Shown for a regular-footed rider. Teal ring + arrow = the rider's facing direction; teal band = the tail; a dot is where a hand holds the board - bright yellow for the front hand, amber for the back one, which is the whole difference between a mute and an indy. Board and rider rotate independently - each follows its own component. Drag to orbit.
How it works
A 360 inward heelflip carrying two heelflip rotations: a full backside 360 of the board with a double heel through it. The 360 buys more time than a 180 does, which is the only reason the second roll fits, and it is still one of the harder flatground combinations anyone lands.
Step by step
- Set up as for a 360 inward heelflip with the back foot deep in the pocket.
- Scoop hard for the full 360 and flick the heel out at the same moment.
- Let two rolls pass while the board is still coming round.
- Spot the grip on the second roll rather than the first.
- Catch it level and ride away.
Body mechanics
| Front foot | Flicks once and hard, then gets out of the way of a board doing four rotations' worth of work. |
|---|---|
| Back foot | Supplies the whole 360 from the scoop. |
| Shoulders | Square and still - any turn here shortens the 360. |
| Arms | Wide for balance over a long rotation. |
| Gaze | On the board through the second half of the spin. |
