Shown for a regular-footed rider. Teal ring + arrow = the rider's facing direction; teal band = the tail; a dot is where a hand holds the board - bright yellow for the front hand, amber for the back one, which is the whole difference between a mute and an indy. Board and rider rotate independently - each follows its own component. Drag to orbit.
How it works
A pressure 360 flip driven with the toe of the back foot. Same engine as the toe flip with a full turn of yaw added, so a single foot pressing above the back wheel produces both a full roll and a full 360.
Step by step
- Set the toes over the heel-side edge above the back wheel.
- Press and scoop hard enough to send the board round a full 360.
- Let the toe pressure roll it over as it spins.
- Stay square while it comes round.
- Catch it level and ride out.
Body mechanics
| Front foot | Stays out of it and comes down only for the catch. |
|---|---|
| Back foot | Drives roll and spin together from the toes. |
| Shoulders | Square; every rotation is the board's. |
| Arms | Level for balance over a long spin. |
| Gaze | On the tail until the board comes back round. |
