Shown for a regular-footed rider. Teal ring + arrow = the rider's facing direction; teal band = the tail; a dot is where a hand holds the board - bright yellow for the front hand, amber for the back one, which is the whole difference between a mute and an indy. Board and rider rotate independently - each follows its own component. Drag to orbit.
How it works
A pressure flip driven by the toes rather than the heel edge: the toes press the heel-side of the board near the tail, directly above the back wheel, and the foot is pulled back and forward to roll it. The result rotates the way a heelflip does, produced entirely from the back foot.
Step by step
- Place the back foot so the toes are over the heel-side edge above the back wheel.
- Press down through the toes and pull the foot back.
- Push forward again to send the board rolling.
- Keep the front foot clear of the rotation.
- Catch the board level and ride away.
