Shown for a regular-footed rider. Teal ring + arrow = the rider's facing direction; teal band = the tail; a dot is where a hand holds the board - bright yellow for the front hand, amber for the back one, which is the whole difference between a mute and an indy. Board and rider rotate independently - each follows its own component. Drag to orbit.
How it works
A biggerspin with a kickflip: one full roll of the board around its long axis stacked on 540 degrees of backside yaw, under a body rotating just 180 backside. The board turns 360 relative to the rider while also flipping - a laser-tier coordination problem where the back foot's scoop must be extended past the tre-flip wrap while the front-foot flick stays identical to a 360 flip's.
Step by step
- Crouch deep in 360-flip position with the back foot wrapped fully into the tail pocket.
- Pop tall; scoop through and past the tre wrap to load 540 of yaw, flicking the heel-side nose corner.
- Release only 180 of shoulder turn as the board flips and spins beneath you.
- Count the extra half rotation of yaw while the flip completes.
- Catch over the swapped ends and land rolling fakie.
Body mechanics
| Front foot | Standard tre-flip flick off the heel-side nose pocket, then hovers with the half-turning body. |
|---|---|
| Back foot | Over-extended tre scoop feeding 540 of yaw plus lift; the trick lives and dies here. |
| Shoulders | Restrained 180 backside release against the urge to chase the spinning board. |
| Arms | High and wide for hang time; the catch needs every millisecond. |
| Gaze | Fixed on the deck, reading flip completion against yaw count simultaneously. |
