Shown for a regular-footed rider. Teal ring + arrow = the rider's facing direction; teal band = the tail; a dot is where a hand holds the board - bright yellow for the front hand, amber for the back one, which is the whole difference between a mute and an indy. Board and rider rotate independently - each follows its own component. Drag to orbit.
How it works
A bigflip scaled up by 180 on both axes of yaw: the board kickflips once while wrapping 540 degrees backside, and the rider spins a full 360 backside with it. Relative rotation between board and rider is the familiar bigspin 180, but everything happens inside a full-body spin - the scoop, flick, and shoulder release all fire at once, and the rider must re-find a flipping board after turning completely around. Lands ends-swapped, rolling in the original stance.
Step by step
- Wind the shoulders hard frontside over a deep crouch in 360-flip position.
- Pop, scoop the 540 backside wrap, and flick the heel-side nose corner while releasing the full wind-up.
- Spin the body 360 backside, tucked, keeping the flipping board under your center.
- Re-spot the deck as your rotation comes around the final quarter.
- Catch over the bolts, land on the swapped ends, and roll away in your original stance.
Body mechanics
| Front foot | Flicks the heel-side nose pocket exactly as in a tre flip, then tucks into the body spin. |
|---|---|
| Back foot | Delivers the extended 540 scoop and immediately drives the hips into the 360. |
| Shoulders | Full frontside wind-up, total backside release - simultaneously the flip's platform and the spin's engine. |
| Arms | Thrown at release, tucked mid-spin, opened to brake at the catch. |
| Gaze | Leads the spin; the board is tracked, lost, and re-acquired in the last 90 degrees. |
