roll yaw pitch body

Shown for a regular-footed rider. Teal ring + arrow = the rider's facing direction; teal band = the tail; a dot is where a hand holds the board - bright yellow for the front hand, amber for the back one, which is the whole difference between a mute and an indy. Board and rider rotate independently - each follows its own component. Drag to orbit.

How it works

Two full toe-ward rotations around the long axis from a single heelflip flick. The heel snap off the toe-side nose pocket must be faster and cleaner than a single heelflip's, with the kicking leg clearing further forward so the double-speed roll never clips the shoe. Rated harder than the double kickflip because the heel delivers force through a smaller contact patch, making the fast flick less consistent.

Step by step

  1. Heelflip setup with toes slightly over the toe edge and a deep crouch.
  2. Pop tall and slide the front foot to the toe-side nose corner.
  3. Snap the heel off the pocket as hard and fast as possible, kicking the leg forward-out and clear.
  4. Tuck both knees while the board completes two toe-ward rolls.
  5. Catch on the second grip pass and land over the bolts.

Body mechanics

Front footDelivers a maximal-speed heel snap off the toe-side pocket, then clears far forward of the spin.
Back footTall pop, high tuck, first contact on the catch.
ShouldersSquare with slight rearward lean to open space for the double-speed flip.
ArmsHigh for hang time; front arm punches forward with the kick.
GazeCounting grip passes - commit the catch only after the second.
