How it works
A fakie ollie with a full 360-degree backside rotation of board and body together around the vertical axis, landing rolling fakie again. Angular momentum comes from a deep frontside shoulder wind-up released at the pop; the feet must pin the board to the shoes through the whole rotation since board yaw is driven entirely by hip and shoulder torque.
Step by step
- Roll fakie with a deep crouch and shoulders wound hard frontside.
- Pop a strong fakie ollie and release the wind-up backside with full commitment.
- Suck the knees up so board and body spin as one compact unit.
- Keep the head turning ahead of the shoulders through the blind second 180.
- Spot the landing as the rotation completes and extend the legs.
- Land over the bolts still rolling fakie, absorbing any remaining rotation.
Body mechanics
