No Comply 180

Shown for a regular-footed rider. Teal ring + arrow = the rider's facing direction; teal band = the tail; a dot is where a hand holds the board - bright yellow for the front hand, amber for the back one, which is the whole difference between a mute and an indy. Board and rider rotate independently - each follows its own component. Drag to orbit.
How it works
The canonical no-comply variant: the front foot plants heel-side while the back foot pops and scoops the tail frontside, swinging the board 180 degrees around the vertical axis behind the planted leg as the rider hops and turns frontside with it. Board and body complete the half rotation together and the rider lands rolling fakie. The planted leg acts as both launch spring and rotation pivot.
Step by step
- Roll slowly, back foot on the tail slightly toe-side, front foot loose.
- Step the front foot off heel-side and plant it beside the front truck.
- Pop and scoop the tail frontside with the back foot, wrapping the board around behind the planted leg.
- Hop off the planted foot, turning chest and hips frontside 180 with the board.
- Catch the front bolts with the front foot as the board finishes its arc.
- Land fakie over the bolts and roll away.
Body mechanics
| Front foot | Plants heel-side, becomes the pivot the board wraps behind, then springs and returns to the deck. |
|---|---|
| Back foot | Pops and steers the tail through the frontside arc, riding the board the whole way. |
| Shoulders | Open frontside with the scoop, leading the 180. |
| Arms | Sweep frontside to add rotation, then settle for the fakie landing. |
| Gaze | Follows the nose around; the landing rotates into view immediately. |
