Shown for a regular-footed rider. Teal ring + arrow = the rider's facing direction; teal band = the tail; a dot is where a hand holds the board - bright yellow for the front hand, amber for the back one, which is the whole difference between a mute and an indy. Board and rider rotate independently - each follows its own component. Drag to orbit.
How it works
A hardflip extended to a full revolution of yaw: the board kickflips once while wrapping 360 degrees frontside. Roll and yaw oppose each other just as in the 180 hardflip, but the back foot must sustain the frontside scoop through twice the arc, and the front foot's downward kickflip flick has to thread a board that is both climbing between the legs and rotating away frontside. Caught grip-up with ends back to original orientation.
Step by step
- Hardflip stance: back heel off the tail's heel edge, front foot under the heel-side line of the nose.
- Crouch very deep and load the back hip.
- Pop and wrap the tail toe-ward through a full 360 of frontside yaw.
- Flick straight down off the heel-side nose pocket as the board rises between the legs.
- Open the knees, hover, and track the compound spin.
- Catch grip-up as the full wrap completes, land, and roll away.
Body mechanics
| Front foot | Sharp vertical flick timed a beat after the scoop, then pulled high out of the corridor. |
|---|---|
| Back foot | Extended frontside wrap driven from the hip - it feeds yaw for twice as long as a hardflip. |
| Shoulders | Square with a hard counter-hold; the frontside torque on the body is significant. |
| Arms | Spread wide as the knees open, managing the vertical board path. |
| Gaze | Down the board's corridor, reading flip completion against the 360 wrap. |
